During semester 2 I was given a brief to ‘Design an interior ‘within-an-interior’ to reflect the identity of an Art School.’ I was to keep the topic of border crossings in mind as this space was to encourage encounters between different disciplines of the art school to come together and speak/share ideas.
My Concept for this project was to brighten up floor 5 and 6 to create a motivating and positive working area where people can sit, chat and share design ideas and experiences. My theme for this project was Reflection, Light and Colour as my idea is to allow maximum light through to the area from both natural and artificial light, as well as adding colour in small areas and using reflection to make these colours go further.
